Phoenix Gateway was founded by L.R. Dovie, who brings 20 years of experience in the domestic abuse support sector, along with personal lived experience.

Our goal is to offer resources based on research and real experiences to  raise awareness and recovery from intimate partner abuse.

While we do not offer direct support for those experiencing abuse, our aim is to provide accessible evidence based resources for those who support them. We believe increasing domestic abuse knowledge can help people understand the dynamics and impact of intimate partner abuse, make safety plans, regain independence, and promote recovery.
